Sillage helps people turn a mood, a season, or a favorite note into a fragrance shortlist. The interface brings those preferences together in one search experience, backed by a recommendation service.
Challenge
A large fragrance catalog is difficult to explore when someone knows the feeling they want, but not the name of a perfume.
Approach
A Next.js frontend collects moods, notes, seasons, and preferences. A Django REST backend connects that input to the recommendation logic, keeping the browsing experience separate from the recommendation service.
Outcome
A responsive way to explore recommendations through familiar preferences instead of starting with an unfiltered catalog.
