ZenFlow brings tasks, calendar events, expenses, and analytics into a single desktop workspace. I led the Django REST Framework backend, with PostgreSQL and JWT authentication. Akib Hasan (ak1bhasan) built the Next.js frontend.
Challenge
Daily planning and expense tracking become fragmented when each tool holds only one part of the day.
Approach
The frontend and API are separate applications. I focused on the backend and data layer while Akib shaped the interface, giving each side a clear responsibility in the shared workflow.
Outcome
One workspace connects planning, expenses, and analytics, with a decoupled API that also supports the ZenFlow mobile companion.
